More bad news for Dolton, Ill.’s self-proclaimed “Super Mayor” Tiffany Henyard. Amidst federal probes into her spending habits and outstanding balances, it appears she forgot to pay the bill that probably matters the most.

Henyard was named along with her boyfriend, Kamal Woods, in an eviction notice filed in Cook County, according to FOX 32 Chicago. The notice regards Henyard’s rental home on the 14600 block of South Harvard, in which she’d been a tenant for the past three years, the report says. The property owner claims Henyard and her boo thang are behind $3,300 in rent. The notice also says Henyard refuses to allow property inspection, per the report.
When asked about the notice, Henyard told FOX 32 the claims were false and that she was not behind on rent. But the eviction notice says she may be due in court on Oct. 22.
The notice is certainly not a good look for Henyard considering her spending habits are viewed under a microscope. Residents just found by way of WGN Investigates that a block party she threw in partnership with Thorton Township cost over $85,000.
The village trustees sought former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot to launch an investigation into how Henyard let the Dolton Village General Fund wind up with a negative balance of $3.65 million. According to the preliminary report, Henyard spent over $43,000 at Amazon in just one day and dramatically increased the police budget – which some claim was really a scheme at hiring cops as her own private security.
The trustees are so tired of her, a judge sided with them granting an injunction to restrain Henyard from appointing new village members without consent of the trustees, per CBS News. Plus, the FBI launched their own probe into Dolton Village Hall, thought there are no updates on the progress of that investigation.
