Kamala Harris, the former vice-president, was confronted by pro-Palestine protesters during a promotional event for her newly released book 107 Days. During an interview in New York, masked protesters shouted from the audience, accusing Harris of being complicit in the ongoing bombardment of the Gaza Strip.
The former vice-president attempted to calm tensions as the audience member was removed from the veneue. More then 65,000 people have died since Israel launched its invasion of Gaza, according the the Hamas-run health ministry.
