SHREVEPORT, La. – March is Women’s History Month and one local group is planning a major celebration.
The African American Parade Celebration Committee is hosting an event to honor local women making a difference in the community.
All women are encouraged to wear white.
It takes place March 23 at Riverview Hall. Doors open at 1 p.m., and admission is free.
