Spoiler Alert: If you haven’t seen “Deadpool & Wolverine,” stop reading now!

Seriously, stop reading now! Fine, you’ve been warned.

Deadpool & Wolverine” is full of crowd-pleasing cameos and returns. Don’t worry, we’re not going to spoil all of them here, but there is one pretty notable one that we need to get into.

The movie follows Ryan Reynolds’ Wade Wilson/Deadpool and Hugh Jackman’s Logan/Wolverine as they travel through the multiverse trying to save the day. Along the way, the unlikely partners land in The Void, a.k.a. Marvel’s Island of Misfit Toys, where characters from forgotten films are sent. Among the many amazing returns we’re surprised with is the OG Daywalker himself, Wesley Snipes as Blade!

That’s right y’all! Marvel Studios may not know what to do with its new “Blade” movie, but the original vampire hunter is kicking ass like no time has passed. As he helps Wade and Logan find their way home, Snipes cuts through bad guys like it’s 1998 again.

He even has time to poke a little fun at the cursed reboot. When The Punisher is mentioned, Wade wonders which one they’re talking about. The Daywalker proudly declares there’s only one Blade and there will only ever be one Blade.

As excited as we are to possibly see Mahershala Ali as Blade one day, after the impact he makes here, it feels like you have to make Snipes part of the project. Jackman played countless Wolverine variants, so there’s definitely room for two Blades.

On Thursday, Snipes appeared at “The Ultimate Deadpool & Wolverine Celebration of Life” panel at San Diego Comic-Con. He posted video of himself with the cast, including Reynolds, Jackman and fellow big name guest stars. Fans on social media seemed very intrigued by the idea of his return to the role—and possibly the “Blade” franchise.

One user noted how connected they are to the character, writing on X, “The OG Blade that nobody will ever take away from me, or my childhood!!”

Another person sees no reason why we can’t get Snipes back full-time, posting, “My bro killed it. And let it be known with his whole chest. There can only be one Blade. If they let Hugh Jackman back why can’t wesley be back?”

One fan acknowledged how groundbreaking the original film is, writing on X, “You were the start. There would be no MCU without you.”

It’s been extremely difficult for Marvel to figure out its “Blade” problem, but it appears the answer fans want has been staring them in the face the whole time.

“Deadpool & Wolverine” is now playing in theaters.
