CB2, a high-design furniture and home decor store, just launched their Designer Collective, showcasing the visionaries behind their top-tier designs. This crew is stacked with some of the world’s most innovative and influential designers, embodying creativity, innovation and cultural richness. Today’s drop features over 20 designers from spots like Barcelona to Melbourne, each bringing their unique flavor to the table.

The Designer Collective ensures CB2’s collection has soul and perspective, with each piece reflecting a personal touch. Starting in 2010 with a few designers, this lineup has been shaping CB2’s vibe for more than a decade. They kicked off their first collab with “CB2 x Novogratz” and kept the momentum going with reissues from design legends like Paul McCobb in 2021. Now, more than 50 studios will be crafting for CB2’s seasonal collections.

A standout is Evan Jerry, designer and founder of Studio Anansi. Founded in 2018, the name “Anansi” comes from West African and West Indian folklore, given to a mythical character who symbolizes knowledge and storytelling. Jerry’s work blends modernity with Afrocentric elements, weaving his Caribbean heritage into sculptural and architectural designs.

Growing up in Canada, Jerry was influenced by the importance of an ancestral figure like Anansi, who transforms weakness into strength. This practice of representation and transformation shines through in his work, offering a clever and confronting understanding of our connections to the past.

“CB2 has been collaborating with top designers for years, but now we’re putting them on blast with the Designer Collective,” says CB2 President Ryan Turf. “Our designers are the heart of our brand. Their unique perspectives and skills let us create collections that are not only stunning but also deeply meaningful, pushing the boundaries of design and giving our customers something truly special.”

From the material-driven silhouettes of Bremen-based designer Jannis Ellenberger to the unique shapes crafted by Caleb Zipperer, the varied design philosophies within the collective provide CB2 with a distinctive advantage in presenting innovative, high-quality pieces. The Designer Collective transcends merely offering attractive furniture; it celebrates the narratives, cultures and artistic visions of each designer, positioning CB2 as a genuine trailblazer in the realm of home decor.
